The French subsidiaries of the Monsanto group were scattered across Paris in separate offices until the firm decided to rent 3,700m² of renovated offices in the Elysées La Défense building for their 180 staff.
The move was an opportunity for the firm to reorganise its departmental structure and break down hierarchical barriers. Not even the chief executive had a separate office, sharing an open plan office with his senior management.
Turnbull Associés worked alongside space-plannning partners Projective Architecture to define the working environment for this new organisational concept, then to supervise the fitting out works, furniture supply and removals to the new premises.
